A Level Photography

 A Level Photography

In my Year 12 work I had a particular focus on the impact of litter on the environment and socially on people. My final piece encapsulates the storm of confusion, fear and disorder that the mounting pile of refuse is creating.

My recent A level photography has had a focus on identity. Within this I have explored different ways to reflect different emotions a subject can represent, such as through silhouettes, motion blur, shadows and reflections, and through physically manipulating my photographs.

I have really enjoyed street photography this year because of the cinematic portraits you can create, due to the mystery and endless storytelling that surrounds a subject.

Whilst developing an idea for my A level mock I created a collage of different media, including my own photographs on a collage which presented the theme of "emotions and values of a person come from within and not how we manipulate our image to be".
